Adding a Payment Source for Prepaid Accounts

Modified on Fri, Oct 4 at 11:28 AM

Before you can make purchases with your NachoCards, you will connect a Payment Source.

For Prepaid accounts, you need to add funds to the Balance in your NachoNacho account before you can use NachoCards. You have three options:

1) ACH - You can connect your US based bank account through Plaid. We use ACH to draw funds from US bank accounts. Please note that it can take up to 5 business days to receive funds into your NachoNacho account. There is no cost for this transfer.

2) Card - You can instantly fund your account using a debit or credit card. Once you've connected your card and selected it as the Primary Source, click the 'Top up now' button and enter the desired amount. Note that there is a 3% transaction fee for credit/debit cards. There is an additional 1.5% fee for non-US cards and an additional 1% fee for American Express cards.

3) Wire - You can wire funds by following the instructions provided in the '+Wire funds' button. There is a $15 incoming wire fee, unless the amount is $5k or higher in which case there is no fee. After submitting the wire through your bank, you will need to enter in the wire details by going to the Payment Source tab and clicking on 'Provide details of funds wired.' This ensures that the funds are credited to your account in a timely manner.
